Probe Networks was founded in 2002 in the city of saarlouis in germany. The first colocation services were offered in frankfurt. Due to growth and customer demand we decided to extend our offers to more locations and countries. In 2004 we started to offer colocation and services in amsterdam and connected to the AMS-IX internet exchange there. Soon after this services in london as well as brussels were made available.
Since 2008 we offer multiple locations within frankfurt to reach geographic redundancy. By using a own metro dark fiber ring we provide fast and redundant connections within the city.
By the end of 2009 we relocated our offices from saarlouis to merzig which is very close to both the borders of luxemburg and france. Due to the close proximity this offered better service for our customers from these countries. Since 2012 all locations are using 100% power from regenerative sources and as thus beeing Co2 neutral.
